Grievance

Football is a contact sport.  We sponsor fairness and sportsmanship in our players and officials and encourage these attributes in our opposition.

On occasion, however, there may be some grievance that needs airing.  Any player, spectator or club official who has any grievance with any actions occurring during or after a game; with any official of the Waverley Blues or any other football club, must take that grievance known to a Waverley Blues official (preferably the relevant Team Manager) as soon as possible.

In the case of an incident on field or with an opposition official, any grievance MUST be reported to the TEAM MANAGER so that he/she can report it to the umpire.  This report MUST take place before the Umpire has completed the match report and in the presence of the opposition Team Manager.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES must a player, spectator, parent, or any official, other than the Team Manager approach an Umpire.

Written complaints are accepted by the competition if the correct procedure is followed

  • The written complaint is received within 24 hours.
  • All complaints must be made via your Team Manager

Any club related grievances should be raised in the first instance with your Team Manager

Unresolved issues should be raised with President for discussion (as appropriate) with the committee.

Please note it is club policy that parents, players or spectators who have any concerns with EFNL rules of policies should raise their concerns with their Team Manager, who will raise this with your committee. Please do not contact the EFNL directly. Contact can only be made by offical club personnel
